How does Active Folate help with Menopause?
Studies have shown that taking folic acid has effects similar to that of SNRI antidepressants.
Recommended Dosage :
Folate deficiency may contribute to the cognitive impairment of the ageing brain, increasing the risk of Alzheimer’s disease.
The recommended daily amount of folate for adults is 400 micrograms (mcg). PreN-FD can provide 600mcg in 1 capsule, it may help to improve cognitive function and help reduce the risk of Alzheimer’s.
What is Pren-FD for?
Pren-FD is a supplement that contains both ACTIVE folate and vitamin D3. It is best used in preparation for pregnancy, to be consumed by both men and women. It helps to reduce risk of birth defects.
What does Active Folate mean?
PreN-FD contains ACTIVE folate .. which means it will be absorbed by the body faster and will not have toxic effects to the body.
Normal folic acid needs to be processed in the body first before it can be absorbed. If there are any unprocessed folic acid (UMFA), it may have toxic side effects to the mother and/or baby.
